After careful consideration, the Rice Township Board of Supervisors regrets to announce the cancelation of its Easter Egg Hunt to have been held on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at 1:00PM. In an abundance of caution, given current events concerning COVID-19 (the coronavirus), the Supervisors recognize that the large number of people attracted to the event including grandparents might be at risk for exposure to the disease. The Supervisors thank the staff and residents who were working to put on the Egg Hunt for all their hard work up. The Supervisors anticipate hosting a community event in the fall.
